The second matchday of the Anwil league was played on 16 September 2007. As we mentioned last week, the Vigran team was to face the last years' winner - Remwil.
At the beginning of the game the front-runner Remwil took the initiative. Luckily their offensive wasn't effective. Our team counterattacked in a chaotic manner but near the end of the first half we managed to score the first goal. unexpectingly the halftime result was 1:0 for Anvil.
However, after the first four minutes of the second half Remwil proved himself as the superior team and scored three goals. Our defence made major mistakes which were effectively used by our opponent. After a corner-kick we managed to place the ball in the net for the second time. Remwil's response was instant – two counter attacks, two goals and the front-runner won 5:2.
Our offensive line performed very poorly during the game. Even our last season's top scorer – Tomasz Spychalski - could not get back into shape (he was probably thinking more about the oncoming wedding than the game). However, we hope that our team will finally win 3 points in the next game.
During the third matchday (22.09.2007 at 3:40PM) we are going to compete with Aski-Zarząd.
